| Elias Hughes, my 4th Great Grandfather, was born on or before 1750. He died after February 16, 1802, at which time he and his wife, Jane, signed a deed of property to his son Isaac, in Washington County, Virginia, recorded in Deed book 2, page 498. Elias' progeny have prospered, but unfortunately, like most families, have lost contact with each other. Some still live in Southwest Virginia, while others have journeyed on to establish families in all parts of the United States and the world. I have created this page in order to begin to bring together his descendants, so that we may celebrate him and each other, as not only family, but also as friends.
