The Dickson - Hughes Family Tree

This page illustrates the ancestral lines of the Dickson-Hughes families.

The Dicksons center in the central Tennessee area, the Yellow Creek Valley, having moved to Tennessee from North Carolina and Virginia in the late 1700's. These families are basically pioneering Scotch-Irish families.

The Hugheses are based in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and are descendants of Irish and English immigrants in the mid 1800's (1848-1875).
