The Allen & Gray Families of VT Home Page

I am searching for all descendants of Arthur Allen, who arrived In Montpelier, VT, from England ca 1870 and owned a Cigar Store at 38 State St in Montpelier, for several years. His son Arthur A. Allen, who later owned another Cigar store, had many descendants, some were in California as early as the late 1920's.
First Arthur's son James m Nellie Gray in 1875, from whom I descend, her father Ira S. Gray was killed in the Civil War, but her grandfather the Rev. Ira Gray of Waterbury and later No. Hyde Park, VT (Freewill Baptist Minister) had other sons, Milo, Darius & Cassius, I would like to contact all for a family reunion and to set a Daughters of 1812 marker for the Rev. Ira's father David Gray, who fought in the War of 1812 and lived in Montpelier, VT
David Gray had many descendants, also.
