I have entered the Family Tree for the Maes family, who immigratedfrom Belgium in 1904. This is the family on my mother's side. I have also entered information on the Holter family who immigrated from Norway about 1902. They were known as Christiansen in Norway but changed their last name to the name of their farm before coming to America. Most of my information has come from other family members who have done much of the research including trips to Norway and Belgium. I don't have much information on the Hughes family, it is especially difficult since it is such a common name! |
