This information is primarily concerned with the family of William Badger Beaty of Matthews, NC - his descendants and ancestors. The family was one of many Beaty families around the Charlotte, NC area. Many researchers, myself included, believe these families were all related in some fashion.

Kinship families include the following (as a sample): Dunn, Underwood, McGee, Moore, Rankin, Hill, et. al.

    This was Felix Thomas Beaty's home on the Old Salisbury Road near Paw Creek. He built it in about 1902 or 1903.

    This was a Beaty reunion held sometime in the late 1930s or early 1940s. If you recognize anyone, let me know. I apologize for the quality - my original was a 2" by 3" old photo.
  • Portrait of John Beaty of Texas (91 KB)
    This is a portrait in the home of Warner Beaty, grandson of John Beaty, who migrated to Texas in 1856. I apologize for the flash reflection!
