| I am researching my family, building upon what my great aunt has worked on for many years. It is a large family that has taken many turns and twists, yet is rewarding and intresting. Of great intrest is my Great-Grandmother, Amey Burnett, Who was married to my Great-Grandfather, Jess W. Hughes. She is also listed as Emma or Emms in the 1900 and 1910 census' for Oklahoma. Her father was a Samuel Burnett, from Missouri. Family legend has it that she was related to the Burnetts of the 6666 Ranch in Texas. |
