The Hughes corner of the cellar is very limited. Dad was adopted and has little information on his adoptive parents, Frank and Mary Clark Hughes of Sharon,Mercer Co, PA. The Bennicks, Capwells and the Schaubs, Corry, Erie Co, PA, have found a way into this corner by grafting at the marriage of Clarice Capwell to Chuck Hughes.
From the Snapp's roots we branch out to the Bakers, Blackmores, Hortons, Andersons, and Jeters. Some from the Reedy Creek, Sullivan Co. TN area and some from the Stanley Valley , Hawkins Co, TN area.
The Snapp corner is the main branch of roots collected here. The cultivation of this history started by my Grandfather, Landon Haynes Snapp, back in the 1930s and 40s. He made trips all over TN and VA. to visit face to face with every Snapp he could find. He transcribed bible listings and name lists given him at these interviews. I have copies of his hand written notes, my most treasured history.
We have recently had a new graphting to our tree with the marriage of our children. Steve has cultivated a strong new branch with his marriage to Judith Rebecca Lipsett, Texas. She has worked tirelessly on her own family tree. It is very well documented and wonderully layed out. (see link below) Judie brings with her our first grand daughter Sarah.
Our daughter Kelly has continued to grow our tree stronger with her marriage to Ron Hall, Kentucky. Their young family has began to blossom with the birth of more grand daughers, Alyssa and Ashley.

Mary (the taller woman on the left) is the adoptive mother of Chuck Hughes. We have no information on her except her obit. We have not been able to find any family or other evidence of her exsistance. DO you know these people?
