      3. Mary Mandelia West, born 19 Feb 1849 in Bolivar, Polk Co., Missouri; died 19 Oct 1921 in Polk Co., Missouri. She was the daughter of 6. Joel West and 7. Sarah Catherine Burros.

James Madison Wollard, the only child of William R. Wollard and Eleamor Holmes, was born March 16, 1840, in Polk Co., Missouri, on a farm located between the towns of Bolivar and Aldrich, Missouri. His nickname was Uncle Jimmie. He attended the country schools near his home. He was a member of the Christian Church of Aldrich, Missouri, and was a Democrat. His eyes were blue and his hair light brown. His hair turned gray in his early twenties. His complexion was fair and his height average to below average. His occupation was farmer. James Madison Wollard lived all his life on the farm he was born on and is buried in a cemetery on that farm. His parents migrated from Tennessee.
In 1838, they homesteaded the farm on which James Madison Wollard was born and died. He being the youngest boy, kept the farm after his father died in 1861. This farm later belonged to Fred and Harry Hughes, his grandsons.
He married Mary Mandelia West, Nov. 3, 1867.
He took care of his mother while she lived, and he lived to be just five days older than his mother. (He was 76 yrs, 1 mo, 13 days, she was 76 yrs, 1 mo, 8 days)
He died April 29, 1916. Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 30, 1916, at the home, conducted by Rev. Babb.

She married James Madison Wollard in 1867.
Her nickname was Dele.

Robert Edgar was born on the family farm near Aldrich, Madison Township, Polk Co., Missouri, Oct. 12,1868. He attended College Hill School thru the 8th grade. During the 1870 and 1880 censuses, he was living in Madison Township, Polk Co., Missouri. He married Leota Rebecca Devin, October 27, 1887, in Bolivar, Missouri. They were married by Rev. R. E. L. Burks, President of Southwest Baptist College of Bolivar, Missouri. He was a Baptist and farmer and Democrat. He had grey-blue eyes, dark brown hair, and a fair complexion. He was 5 ft. 7 inches tall and weighed 165 lbs. He died on his farm west of Bolivar, Missouri, of a stroke March 19, 1922.

  Notes for Leota Rebecca Devin:
Leota Rebecca was born on the Hejna Farm near Bolivar, Missouri, August 20, 1869. She attended the Runyan School to the eighth grade. She was a Baptist and a Republican. She had blue eyes, auburn hair, and a very fair complexion. Her height was 5 ft. and 5 inches and weight was 130 lbs. Both Robert Edgar Wollard and Leota Rebecca Devin, who were known by their nephews and nieces as Uncle Bob and Aunt Oat, were baptized at the same time in a pond where the Bolivar swimming pool is now. During the 1870 census, she was living in Marion Township, Polk Co., Missouri. During the 1880 census, she was living in Marion Township, Polk Co., Missouri. She died from complications of diabetes January 20, 1926, at her home near Bolivar, Missouri.
