I am researching the Thomas Coates family from Ireland that came to the United States in about 1717 and settled in Chester County Pa. I have obtained some information that they built and settled the town of Coatesville, Pa and remained in teh area for many years. Moses Coates, his son was born abt 1761 and married Susannah Weldon. Any information you might have would be appreciated and I am willing to share the information I have.
