DAYTON (Special) - Mrs. E. B. (Elsie) Lee, 63, of 108 W. Richmond, died at a local hospital Wednesday morning.
Born Oct. 20, 1907, Mrs. Lee lived in Leavenworth, Wash., before she married E. B. Lee in 1930 in Arlington, Waash. they lived in Seattle, where Lee was a barber, until 1951, when they moved to Waitsburg. Lee continued barbering in Waitsburg and Mrs. Lee operated Elsie's Cafe until 1960 when she began cooking for restaurants in the Dayton area. In 1964, the Lees operated the Dayton golf course.
Besides her husband at the home, Mrs. lee is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Don (Gwen) Cook of Seattle and Mrs. Don (Judy) Jackson of Starbuck; three sons, Dan Huntley of walla Walla, Bryan Lee of Albany, Ore., and Dick Lee of Spokane; her father, George Kirkpatrick of Spokane; and 17 grandchildren.
Services have tentatively been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Hubbard-Rogg chapel with interment to follow at the Dayton City Cemetery.

Notes for HAROLD JOSEPH HUNDLEY/HUNTLEY:
According to Nadine Huntley Glenn, Hal used the name Karl Kruger and enlisted in the Navy when 16 yrs old. He was discharged when they discovered that he was under age. He had the nicknames of "Foozy" and "Swede" when younger.

Harold was committed to a baby home in Portland January 6, 1909. There are two baby homes that Nadine remembers - Albertina Kerr Centers and Waverly Baby Home.

Ella Stark had guardianship for him in 1914-1916 when he attended Sunnyside School.

According to June Huntley, Hal's birth record was burnt up in the minister's home and was never recorded.

According to his death certificate Hal completed the 10th grade in school.
