According to Jim Ryan - Joseph and Margaretta died in early life. When the boys were 11 and 9 years old. They grew to Algood with the Baird people. Educated in Scio College, went west. Frank settled in California and Howard in Oregon. Frank married there and raised two daughters. Howard came back (to Ohio) and married Nellie Shafer. He and his wife returned to Oregon and were blessed with six daughters. Four are still living, also Howard and wife.
According to Jim Fuller - Howard was a pharmacist in Denver just after the turn of the century. He returned to Ohio to marry Nellie. Moved to Oregon and spent 50 years in the Insurance business for Cal-Western Life Insurance Co. starting in 1915.

Fer - sailor of the sea. And mor I could not find. So I started looking at all of the names in the book. I can't rember what other name it was under but it is an old french name that means TAX COLECTER. French makes sence because Baird or Barde frum france. Barde invaded with the Nors invaders in 1012.
