Henry Baird and Ann Burnside's daughter Eliza married into my McLene/McLain line. She married John Gemmill McLain in 1827. The son Robert Baird McLain I's wife and at least 2 of her children were into genealogy. Robert Baird McLain II's work between 1900-1946 when he died is EXTENSIVE. He researched descendants of our McLene/McLain emigrant Daniel McLene born about 1689 and many families that married into it. Of course he had an interest in Bairds. His work is available through Salt Lake City on 19 microfilm reels -- see what I mean by extensive. I have been abstracting his work and sources for many years now. But I still don't have the sources entered into PAF yet. I do have wordprocessed notes on all reels. Happy to share what I have & where the information is. As you will want to review those microfilms. I descend from John Gemmill McLain's older brother James, but think I know more about John's descendants and Baird's than my own.
