She was born March 27, 1873 in Johnson County, Texas, and died March 27, 1949 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.

Notes for William M. (Will) Hunt:
Marriage certificate stated that William's name was William M. Hunt, James Ruben's birth certificate stated that William's name was William J. Hunt, William signed the birth certificate as J. W. Hunt.
James Ruben's birth certificate also states that William's birth place is in Missouri.
William filed for a Marriage License with Mary Susan Stephens on Sept. 2, 1893; Filed in the county courthouse on Sept. 5, 1893. F. H. Cashell Married them.

The 1900 Census lists this family in Hood County, Texas.

There is no stone to be found on Will's grave site. His stone was carved of sandstone and has long since deteriorated with time.

There is no recorded Birth Certificate in the Johnson County Courthouse. We looked for the records on March 14, 2000. The county clerk could not find the records in the regular listings or the delayed listings. As it was not required by law to file births until 1903/1904, it is believed that this one was never filed. cdh
