OBITUARY: HASKELL FREE PRESS, HASKELL, HASKELL COUNTY, TEXAS Thursday, February 28, 1929 MARY LOU HUNT
Mary Lou Hunt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rube Hunt, died February 15th at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stevens, Weinert, Texas.
Services were conducted at the Weinert Baptist Church, 2-16-1929. Interment in the Weinert Cemetery. The going away of little Mary Lou, was expected as she had been sick for sometime. Some few months ago she had become afflected, and since has been confined to her bed. In the going of little Mary Lou we see the handywork of an allwise and loving Father. We sometimes can not understand just why he takes our little ones, but this we know, "That He doeth all things for the best." And we must come to be willing to let him have his will. May God bless the sorrowing father and mother and the other loved ones. Services conducted by Rev. Cecil Fox. [The spelling is copied just as it was written in the Newspaper. STEVENS is not the correct spelling for the uncle and aunt, but STEPHENS is correct. cdh]
