The county clerk could not find the records in the regular listings or the delayed listings. James Ruben's birth certificate also states that William's birth place is in Missouri.
William filed for a Marriage License with Mary Susan Stephens on Sept. 2, 1893; Filed in the county courthouse on Sept. 5, 1893. F. H. Cashell Married them.

The 1900 Census lists this family in Hood County, Texas.

There is no stone to be found on Will's grave site. His stone was carved of sandstone and has. Burial was in the Weinert cemeter
