ARAH CAROLINE DUNKIN:
Sarah has no tombstone other than sharing one with her husband James W. Allen, her epitaph is on the side his tombstone. The name that is wrote on the tombstone is Sarah A. Allen but her name was Sarah Caroline Dunkin Allen. The A was suppose to be a C. That was told to me by two of her grand-daughters, one was Norma Modean Barker, (her mother Sallie had told her a lot about the family) and the other granddaughter was my husbands grandmother, Verna Mae Allen Hunter.
After Sarah's husband James W. Allen had passed away Sarah lived in the house they had shared sence moving to Texas, and one of her grand-sons stayed with her until her death, so she would not be alone.
