      Moses Huntley, was baptized in the First Church of Roxbury, Mass. 27 October, 1657 by John Eliot, Pastor.
      With his brother Aaron and others from Lyme, Conn. took part in King Phillips War in 1675 and was awarded "a soldier's right", Lot #30 in the unsettled "Volunteer's Town" now Voluntown, Conn.
      Moses served as a Sergeant in Capt. Zebulon Butler's Co. in the Fourth Regiment of Conneticut Troops, commanded by Eleazer Fitch.

He along with other soldiers from Lyme, Conn, served in King Phillips War, and was given one whole soldier's right, (Cedar Swamp Lot No. 50) in the Town of Voluntown, Conn. which he sold to Joseph Lathrop of Norwich, Conn for 8 pounds, 5 Nov. 1716 (Voluntown Deed Book 1),
