In 1905 my branch moved to Stratford, Perth County, Ontario. The Hunter/Elliot decendants include the names; Hunter, Moore, Clark, Hill and McArthur, Murphy, Flynn, Foley, Davies, Rollings, Irvine, Crowley and McDonnell; Elliot, Hemmingway, Sanderson, Button, Fierheller Maternal side: Daniel McCARTHY & Johanna DILLON from Ireland to Wellesley Twp. Ontario area. Families include Gibbons, Hertel, Haddock, Peacock, and Flanigan. Settled in Waterloo & Perth Co. and Toronto, Ontario areas Michael FLANIGAN and Margaret McCAULEY emmigrated from the Ballina area of Co. Mayo, Ireland to farm in Downie Township, Ontario, Canada in 1843. Their decendants are scattered across Canada and the U.S.A. with the majority being in Ontario and Michigan. The names of Flanigan decendants include, Cashin, Blair, Murphy, McQuade, Gaunt, Curtin, Givlin, Cook, Schmidt, Plummer, Connolly. Gant, Cummings, Roe, Brunett, O'Conner, Reid, McCarthy and Hunter. I am activley searching for more data in Ireland and tracking relatives in North America.
