This Hunt family migrated through Central Georgia. Currently identified surnames are - Bateman, Fenn, Hamilton, Harris, Hunt, Long, McCrary, Newman, Whitehead, and Williams. This Hunt Line goes back from James Monroe Hunt(b 1875) & Anna Hamilton to Seaborn McDonald Hunt Sr(b 1841) & Sallie Kellum Fenn to William Lucius? Hunt(b 1811) & Marthina Bateman. Other related Hunts were Dr. George McAllister Dallas Hunt(b 1870), Seaborn McDonald Hunt Jr(b 1878),Nannie E. Hunt, Sarah K. Hunt, Euna F. Hunt, Pulaski County Sheriff William G. Hunt(b 1836), George McAllister Dallas Hunt(b 1845), and Mary Jane Hunt. These Hunts are known to have lived in the counties of Crisp, Crawford, Houston, Pulaski and Worth. They are suspected to have migrated down from the Carolinas and other Georgia Counties. DNA testing indicates a possible link to Allen Tucker of 1820 Greene Co, Georgia.Allen Tucker RS was a neighbor of George Hunt RS.Other Hunts nearby were George, William, James, John, Henry, Elizabeth and Agnes Hunt. I am also searching the Hunts (circa 1770) in Granville County, where I suspect George Hunt RS was from.It is possible that George Hunt is tied to the Ralph Hunt line from Virginia through Samuel Hunt and Sarah Howard.
