Research of my particular Hurst branch geographically from my native Oklahoma back to Arkansas back to Claiborne and Union Counties,Tennessee. My branch goes back to Squire C. Hurst(b.1808)of Union County, Tennesse. He was the son of John Hurst(1780-1843)and Elizabeth Thompson. I'm interested in solving the mystery of who this John Hurst's parents are. No suggested theories pan out or can be verified. This John is often confused with other John Hursts of the same time period and counties.
