The Hurley family I am researching came from Ireland in 1763. They settled in the area that is now Washington D.C. Original man that came over from Ireland was named Ned or Nathanel. The family later moved to Alabama, area around a town called Orion. They moved to central Florida in the late 19th century. Other surnames would include, Foote, Burrows, Dixon, Knight.
