Basil and Pauline Hurst of Coventry & Carmarthen UK

At the moment we are researching both of our family trees which include the surnames of Jefferiss(ies?), Norbury, Dowell and Suffolk and Jackson and Benson also Morris, Jones, Hurst and Ainsworth. The Morris family had one son David Morris who emigrated to Santa Clara in Colorardo/New Mexico in the USA in the 19th Century. The Hurst family came from Lancashire and previously came from County Mayo in Eire.
I am particularly interested in the origin of the Benson family who may have originated Otley or Bradford areas in Yorkshire.
