Only sketchy information is known about John Michael Hussey. He was a printer, having worked for both the Times and Tribune newspapers in Tampa, Florida. He was a member of both the Typographical Union and the Knights of Colombus. He died at the Gordon Keller Hospital during an operation for removal of his gall bladder. He is interred in Sacred Heart cemetery in Tampa.
