      177. Elizabeth Brock, born February 22, 1735/3693; died November 22, 1822 in Strafford County, NH93.

Notes for William Stanton:
William Stanton was born in 1730 and became a patriot soldier and died while in the army during the Revolutionary war on Feb 20, 1777. He was in the NH Militia. The 1966 DAR Patriot index p 642 shows William Stanton b 1730 d 2/10/1777 as being married to Elizabeth Brock. The death date is 10 days off from other information we have. He is listed as a PVT in NH. All the other information corresponds. I think the date is incorrect. Other information shows him to have been 40 when he died. That would make his birthdate about 1737 as is indicated in other places.
He was in Capt John Hihll's Co of NH Militia. Died in NY State on his way home.

  Notes for Elizabeth Brock:
In the 1790 census, Elizabeth Stanton was the head of a household with 3 females and l male.

Child of William Stanton and Elizabeth Brock is:
88 i.   Ezekiel Stanton, born 1760 in New Hampshire; died 1833 in Northfield, Vermont; married Annie Berry
