I am researching the Families of William Hutchison, (Sr.), (Hutcherson). William possibly married Mary Ann (Durall or Duvall) in Jefferson County, Indiana in July of 1824. William was born in Kentucky about 1806 and his wife was born about 1802 in Indiana. As of yet I have not found William Hutchison parents or siblings. I believe his wife is the daughter of Charles and Ary Duvall. There must have been ties with families in Switzerland County, Indiana, in that William & Mary Ann's son, Charles was born in that county in April 1856 and married Mary Ann Wallick of Switzerland County, Indiana. Mary Ann Wallick's family can be traced back to a Philip Wallick in PA. Also Mary Ann is one of the descendants of Col. William Crawford who was scalped and burned at the stake in Sandusky Plains, OH in 1782. Chalres and Mary Ann Wallick had three daughters that married three Gilberts form Switzerland County, Indiana (Amon, Amos and John M. Gilberts). The Gilberts were born in Wells County, Indiana. I am also researchind related families; Harrods of Franklin County, Kentucky, Bishops of Rockcastle, Lincoln and Pulaski County of Kentucky, Duvalls of Franklin County, Kentucky, Moores of Franklin County, Kentucky, Wallick, Younts (Yunts) and other families.
