In the name of God Amen. I John Neeper of Peach Bottom township County of York and State of Pennsylvania being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding praised be God for the same and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs whilst I have strenth and capasity so to do soe make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all wills by me at any time heretofore made and first and principally I commit my soul into the hands of my Creator who gave it my body I commit to the earth at decreation of my executors herafter named and as to such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me I dispose of the same as follows Viz my son James Neeper I have gave him the full share and more of lmy estate real and pesonal Item To my son William Neeper his heirs and assigns I give and bequeath part of the tract of land purchased of John Sample laying South of York and Peach Bottom road bounded by lands of John Boyd Esq Kelly and Johnston and the land of James Neeper together with the use of the following described parsil of land until such times as my son Hugh Neeper shall arive at the age of twenty one years also one horse and saddle one feather bed and beding Item To my son Hugh Neeper his heirs or assigns I give and bequeath the remainder of the tract of land purchased as aforesaid lying North of the Peach Bottom and York road bounded by lands of John Boyd Esqr. and James Neeper to get possesin of said land when he may arive at the age of twenty one years. Item To my son Samuel Neeper his heirs or assigns I give and bequeath part of the farm on which I now live bounded as follows beginning at the lane and runing down the North side of the new field to a marked Spanish oak thence to a white oak stump at the corner of the lower meddow with privilege to take the water out thence along the inside of the fence even with the lane that I made down through the woods up that line to the road thence down to the barns thenc along the fence straight to the outside line together with one feather bed and beding one plow and gears I give my old road wagon to Samuel and Joesph Neeper together with the half of the fruit of the young orchard for seven years after my decease. Item to my son Joseph Neeper I give and bequeth the East and bounded as follows beginning at the fence in the meadow and runing a straight line with the fence to William Ramseys line thence by said line of James Ramsey Alexr. Cooper heirs of David Thomas together with one horse and saddle one feather bed and beding Item To my daughter Sarah Neeper I give and bequeth my young sorel mare and her side saddle also one feather bed and beding one bearou one smal cherry tree table and half the tea ware in the cubard and three hundred dollars in cash to be paid by my executors as soon after my decease as she may want it without intrest till caled upon Item To my daughter Nancy Neeper I give and bequeath one horse and saddler one feather bed one bearou and three hundred dollars in cash to be paid her by my executor at the age of eighteen years without intrest till caled upon Item To my daughter Susana Neeper I give and bequeth one horse and saddle one feather bed and beding and buerou and three hundred dollars in cash to be paid by my executor as soon as she may arive at the age of eighteen years without intrest fill caled upon Item It is also my will that my three daughters above named shall have the use of the front room up stairs in the house I now occupy as long as the live single and my two daugthers Nancy and Susana a shall live without any expense untill the shall arive at the age of eighteen years Item To my son John Neeper his heirs or assigns I give and bequeth the remainder of the tract of land on which I now live with the improvements thereon together with all the personal estate I shall in any way posses at the time of my decease except as before also all debts due or to become due to me he paying all first claims against my estate the above described legacys Item I do make constitute and ordain my son John Neeper the executor of this my last will and testament and guardeen for all my children who may be meners at the time of my decease Item and if any of the before menoned legatees should depart this life during their menority in such case it is my will that the share of such shal be equally devided with the surviving heirs my son James Neeper exempted who will be entitled to no share of such divent In witness thereof I John Neeper to this my last will and testament have set my hand and seal this on the 22nd day of May AD 1829

Before me Jacob B. Metz Register of Pennsylvania York County ss the probate of wills and granting letters of Administration in and for said county personally came James McConkey and James Ramsay and he the said James McConkey on his solemn Oath (with an uplifted hand) and he the said James Ramsay on his solemn affirmation do severally and respectively depose and say that they are well acquainted with the hand writing of John Neeper the testator in the foregoing instrument of writing named and who is now deceased and that the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of said John Neeper decd. is written in the proper hand writing of said John Neeper and further say not (Signed) James McConkey James Ramsay, Sworn, Affirmed and subscribed at the Registers office at York the day and date above written before me I B Mentz Regs.

State of Pennsylvania York County ss On the 22nd day of may AD 1829 Before in and for said county came John Neeper the younger in the testament and last will of John Neeper the elder, late of Peach Bottom township in the said county decd. who on his solemn oath (taken with an uplifted hand) did dispose and say that he will well and truly administer the goods and chattels rights and credits which were of said deceased, that he will a true inventory and consceionable appraisement thereof make and exhibit the same in the Registers office in and for the said county within one month from the above date, and that he will a true and just account, calculation and reckoning of his said administration make and render within one year from the date aforesaid. Memorandum, That Letters testimony on the last will and testament of John Neeper deceased were granted to John Neeper Junr. the 22nd day of May AD 1829 A true copy of the original on file.

3. SAMUEL2 NEEPER (JAMES1) was born 1754 in Scotland (?), and died February 19, 1836 in Pennsylvania. He married MARTHA WHITESIDE. She was born February 18, 1771, and died July 15, 1837 in Pennsylvania.
