I am interested in the following surnames, all Irish:McElroy, McKee, Garland (all from Co. Armagh, Ireland); Corrigan, Clarke, Crossin, Fay(from either Co. Cavan or Co. Monaghan, Ireland); Murphy, Sullivan, Sugrue, Casey (Co. Kerry, Ireland).

My McElroys,McKees, and Garlands all went from Ireland to Kentucky(Lexington and Richmond mostly)from 1850-the late 19th century. The Corrigans, Clarkes, Crossins, and Fays, went first to Pennsylvania in 1852 and then to Kentucky where one of the Corrigan daughters met and married one of the McElroys in 1886. The Murphy and Sullivan side went to Connecticut, beginning in the 1890's up till early in the 20th century. A McElroy son from Kentucky joined the Navy and was stationed for awhile in New London, Connecticut, where, in 1935, he met and married a daughter of the Murphy-Sullivan line.

I'll be happy to share information about these families with interested parties.
