| I am writing a family history book which I have titled "Keeping Memories Alive". That is also the purpose of the book. The families that I am researching include: MITCHELL (Scotland - Canada), HIRTZ (Luxembourg - Canada), GOEBEL (Luxembourg), JOHNSTON (Scotland), LEVORSON (Norway - Canada), HYTTA (Norway), SKARPAAS (Norway), BRAUTI (Norway - Canada - USA), OMTVEIT (Norway), LONNEGRAV (Norway - became Rasmuson and Lanegraff in the US), HVIDSTON (Norway - Canada - US), FJELDSKAAL (Norway), SMEDJEBACKA (Finland), NISH (Scotland), McCONNELL (Scotland - Canada - US), DOWDELL (Scotland). Also Borthwick, Hau, Thorburn, Dillenburg, Wilwers, Meres, Flekstveit, Aamtveit, Schuller. My book includes about 16,000 people. My goal is to hand down to my children (Barry and Brad)and grandchildren a book that includes all of their ancestors and the descendants of those ancestors to the present day. http://www.valh.sasktelwebsite.net/family |
