KENTUCKY FAMILIES: EVANS, ARD, VICKERY, & BROYLES

EVANS:
The Kentucky EVANS family lived in the Wayne and Barren County areas. William Crittenden Evans, (son of William Alexander,grandson of William) born in 1850, moved with his family to the Indianapolis area (Southport, Marion County).

ARD:
The ARD family descended from Reubin Ard of Virginia, moved to Kentucky, where they settled in Barren County. Cyrenius Wait Ard fathered Dorcas Elnora Ann Ard, wife of William Crittenden Evans.

VICKERY & BROYLES:
The Francis Marion VICKERY and Mary BROYLES Vickery family also moved from Virginia to Kentucky.

INDIANA FAMILIES:
COATS, HENSON, MAY, COFFEY, GEIDER, PETRO

COATS:
Jess COATS, my great grandfather, born in the 1870's and lived in Henry County, Indiana.

PETRO:
Jackson PETRO, a civil war veteran from the Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana area, died in the 1880's. His children grew up in the Knightstown, Indiana, orphanage, and settled in Indianapolis. Mary Petro, my great-grandmother, and her brother Charles Petro lived abo
