Researching the family of Gilead Hyatt of New Fairfield Connecticut. He was born March 4, 1795 and died January 1, 1881 at age 86. He married Roxcene Carley, daughter of John. They had six Children, Mary Ann, Isaac, Levi, Abraham, Lucretia, and Henry. In the search for Gilead’s father my family has collected a large amount of Hyatt data. There are so many Hyatt’s that descend from Thomas Hyatt of Stamford Connecticut that I have been organizing them for the last year. Hopefully in a few months I will have it ready to view. There are about 500 descendants bearing the Hyatt name. In the meantime I will be happy to check my records for anyone who has a specific request. The records are mainly from 1618 to the mid 1800s in New York and Connecticut.
