Most of the information contained in our site has been gathered from family stories, bibles, the Federal Archives and recently the Internet. We've listed some web sites below we found especially helpful.

A special THANK YOU to Joseph Boyd who has been doing this much longer than we have and was willing to share with his 'cousins'. If you're lucky enough to find a copy of Joe's book 'THE HYBARGER/HIGHBARGER FAMILY' published in 1979 grab it up...it contains enough information about our family to keep you going for a long, long time.

  Located in Cedar Hill Cemetary, Greenville, TN. This picture was sent to us by Hoyle D. Hyberger.
• Timber Ridge Presbyterian Church, Greene Co, TN (146 KB)
  Land for this church was donated by Joseph Hybarger, who was a member for a short time. This picture was sent to us by Hoyle D Hyberger.

  This is from the front of a postcard. Elizabeth is buried in Greencastle, IN. I've been told this was erected by her son and sits on top of a granite boulder.

  Joshua was the father of Rebecca Kidwell, the first wife of Samuel Gass, Sr. He is buried with wife, Mary Britton Kidwell, in Greene Co, TN
