Thomas Russell Hightower was born May 01, 1839 in Caswell Co., N. C., and died Abt. 1899. He married Martha H. Hyde on December 18, 1883 in Married at Marthas home by J.M.Gardner, MG, daughter of John Ansell Hyde and Sarah Belinda Dyche.
Notes for Thomas Russell Hightower: "The Marshfield Chronicle" April 13, 1899 : Judge T. R. Hightower died at his home in Union Twp. Thurs. of last week after a week's illness with the pneumonia - aged nearly 60 yrs. Judge Hightower was born in N. C. in May 1839, and came to Webster. Co. in 1850. He was buried in a private cemetery near his home. The funeral was conducted by the Masonic Lodge at Niangua, of which he was a member. The deceased leaves a wife and four children.
