1. ALEXANDER1 GUILL was born 1730, and died 1811 in Prince Edward County, VA. He married HANNAH RICE April 17, 1760 in Middlesex County, Virginia.

Notes
The will of Alexander Guill, made on Jan. 9, 1809 and proved on Oct. 21, 1811 in Prince Edward County, VA:

      "In the name of God, Amen. I, Alexander Guill, of the County of Prince Edward, being through the abundance of mercy and goodness of God, though weak in body, yet sound and perfect understanding and memory, do constitute this my Lat Will and Testament, and desire it be received by all as such, which is as follows; towit:
      After Barnett Brightwell and Mary, his wife, is satisfyed for maintaining of me as long as I do live in his house, and after other just debts is paid-- then the balance of my Estate is to be divided as follows: (It should be noted that Barnett Brightwell was married to Mary Guill, Feb. 21, 1782. She was the daughter of Alexander Sr.)
      Equally between my children, to wit: Nancy, Mary, John, Lucy, Alexander, Jane, Elizabeth, Rhoda, Reuban, Nathaniel and Josiah Guill: also my grandson, Bird Guill, I wish to have his father's portion. Cutting him off with nothing my son, Rushel (Russell) I expect is in Eternity, but if he should ever come again I wish him to come in equally with the rest of my children, if not, none of his heirs to come in for one cent of Estate, and I constitute and appoint William Brightwell, Jr. and my son, Josiah Guill, whom I make sole Executors to this my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereunto I here set my hand and affixed my seal, this ninth day of January, 1800 and nine."

Joseph and Bettey, his wife, by their Deed, June 5, 1750, conveyed to sd.
