| Greetings from Ilana, Liora and myself. We are eager to find out anyone connected with my grandfathers, Herbert M. Hyman and Albert Cohen. Herbert was born in Boston in the late "teens." His sister Sylvia also lived in the Boston area her whole life. He later moved to Detroit, Michigan where he briefly worked at the Packard manufacturing plant. Later, he went into the dry cleaning business. My other grandfather, Albert, was in the non-ferrous scrap metal business in Detroit for many years. He was in the Army during WWII working for the OSS and helping many displaced people following the horror that was the war. Anyone (besides the obvious...my immediate family, etc.) who can add pieces to my puzzle would be greatly appreciated to pass along what they know. Thank you. |
