The Iles Family of Tennessee

I am searching for all of the Ileses that are descendants of John Iles who lived in Halifax County, North Carolina from the 1750's until his death in 1817.

John had three sons:
(1) William moved to Sugartown, LA in the 1800's. Many of his descendants currently live near Deridder, LA and in the eastern part of Texas.
(2) Charles stayed in Halifax County, NC. Many of his descendants live near Roanoke Rapids today. All but one line of Charles' descendants changed the spelling to Isles.
(3) Rhodam, who died early,had a son named James.

My family descends from James Iles who was born in NC and appears in Bledsoe County, TN, in the 1830's and then later in Hamilton County, TN. It is my belief that the James Iles of TN is the son of Rhodam Iles of NC.

Many of James' descendants live near Sale Creek, TN north of Chattanooga. I have much of the family tree complete from James to present day. I have contacted several persons who are descendants of Charles and William Iles. I would be interested in corresponding with other persons who believe themselves to be related to John Iles of Halifax County, NC.

I am trying to determine the origin of John Iles of Halifax County, NC. There were a few Ileses that lived in Virginia in the 1600's, but I have found no connection to these Ileses thus far.
