Joel J. Sharp (son of Ludwig (Ludwick) S. Sharp and Martha "Pattie" Fogleman) was born 31 Jul 1851 in Alamance County, NC⁴⁶²⁴, and died 29 May 1939 in Alamance County, NC⁴⁶²⁵.He married Sarah J Sharp on 26 Dec 1872 in Alamance County, NC⁴⁶²⁶, daughter of Jeremiah Sharp and Jane Albright.
