This site represents the descendants of JOHN BENJAMIN SUTTON b-lO Dec. 1769 New Jersey, d-23 Aug. 1854 Osage Co., Mo. and MERCY ANN CUTLER b-14 Oct. 1786 Somerset Co., New Jersey d-4 June 1876 Anderson Co., Kansas.

Other family names represented are the Ashbys and Davidsons.

My Great Grandfather, Oliver Burton Sutton (b-17 July 1874, d-1967), grew up in Ottawa KS, he brought his family West to AZ in 1900. Over a century, all contact was lost with the folks in Kansas, however after I started a website on Myfamily.com called the "Sutton Family Network," I began to reconnect and in 2004 I made contact over the internet with our cousin Philip in Kansas who is the administrator of "Welcome to Sutton Valley." We now share our family history and some of our membership between the two sites.

In my genealogical research, I have discovered many family surnames associated with our Suttons, and since the Suttons are extremely well documented, I will only list my direct line:
Parker George Jr.(12) Parker George Sr.(11) Oliver Burton(10) Silas Pea(9) John Doctor(8) John Benjamin(7) Rev. David(6) David(5) John David(4) William(3) George(2) Robert Ambrose(1)
