It is said that the cemetery Saxon named Mr. Lamus, picked up their remains and put them in a box and buried them at the foot of their sister Mary Borries-Gilbert's grave. This is in the Gilbert-Tourner plot of the Biloxi Cemetery in Mississippi. Josephine was thought to be retarded and was tended to by her sister Blanche all her life. Blanche never married. |
