My Young family were tenant farmers on the Duke of Athollís Estate at Upper Benchill Farm Redgorton in Perthshire from 1700 to 1845, when my g-grandfather moved to Longforgan and Waterybutts Errol in Perthshire and lived there until he died in 1916 age 93. He had 17 children and I know of one son and his family of nine children who moved to New York about 1910. The rest of the family moved to Dundee where I was born.

Other related family names I am researching are Aitken, Barnet, Beattie, Hudghton, Irvine, McNiven, Motion, Myles, Pattullo, Patullo, Small & Smith.

In due course the info I have will be put on this site.
