My branch of the Irvine family came to America from Ireland around 1831. Until about 1860 the family lived in Providence, R.I. In 1860 my great-great grandfather, James William (b 8/1/1826) moved to Augusta, GA where he stayed until he died on Oct 16, 1885. When the Irvine family came to America the family consisted of William (b abt 1810), his wife Margaret and two sons, James William (b 1826) and William (b abt 1832). After arriving in R.I. four more children were added, Margaret (abt 1833), John (abt 1838), Robert (abt 1840) and Elizabeth (abt 1842). I would very much like to find the decendents of any of these children.Other names I am researching are Fuller (OH,MO,MT), Durkee (NY), Rote (Lancaster Co-PA,MT) and Parmer (PA).
