She was born December 13, 1895 in Town of Christiana, Vernon Co., WI, and died April 13, 1964 in Rice Lake, WI (buried in Nora Cemetery).

Funeral services are planned from 2 p.m. Thursday from the Hyllengren Funeral chapel here for Herman Nordlee, 71, who died Monday at the Barron rest home. Rev. J.c. Stoltenberg will officiate and burial will be in Nora cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening.
Mr. Nordlee was born Jan. 10, 1896, at Cashton and had operated the Sanitary Grocery in Rice Lake at one time. He had been staying recently with a daughter, Mrs. Martin Larsen.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jean Larsen of Rice Lake and Mrs. LaVere Larson of Milwaukee, three grandchildren; one great-greandchild; two brothers, Raymond of Barron and Sophas of Amery and two sisters, Lydia and Helen Nordlee both of Los Angeles.

Funeral services have been planned for Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Bethany Lutheran church for Mrs. Mattie Nordlee, 68, of Two Mound Park who died at a local hospital Monday after a brief illness. Rev. J.C. Stoltenberg will officiate and burial will be in Nora Cemetery.
Friends may call this evening at the Hyllengren Funeral chapel.
Mrs. Nordlee was born at Cashton, Wis., Dec. 13, 1895 and was married there May 26, 1917 to Herman Nordlee. In 1920 they moved to Barron and except for the years of 1952 through 1961 when they were in Milwaukee, they have lived in Barron County. Since 1961 the couple have made their home at Two Mound Park.
Mrs. Nordlee is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. LaVere Larson of New Berlin and Mrs. Jean Larsen of Rice Lake; three grandchildren and two brothers, Carl Aarstad of Cashton and Reuben of Viroqua.
