Sheikh Didar Ali Ismaili of Ghari Kapoora, District Mardan,

Ours was a hindu family embrased Islam as early as 1560.Our ancestor Sheikh Mubarak Ali (hindu name Maniram) was the father of Abu Fazal and Faizi who remained the advisors of Mughal Emperor Akbar-e-Azam. Due to the pressure of hindu Arya Samaj, the third son of Sheikh Mubarak Ali called Karam Chank who had a hindu mother, migrated from Delhi to Kashmir and finally the family setttled down in Ghari Kapoora,District Mardan of NWFP, now a province of Pakistan.I was the 10th decendent of Sheikh Mubarak Ali, now settled in Karachi. My elder brother Sheikh Aziz Ali Ismaili has settled in Brampton, Canada, along with his three sons and two daugters, all married and have families of their own.
