Two brothers, William Hamsing born 1861 and Henry Hamsing born 1863 came from Hanover, Germany about 1880 and settled in Merrill, Lincoln, Wisconsin. William married Louisa Falch, the daughter of George Falch and Margaretha Bemsel.

George Falch born 1842 came from Weidenstetten, Germany in 1866. George Falch died in 1871. George's wife Margaretha Bemsel born 1843 married Albert Augustus Otto Oldenburg and lived in Merrill, Wisconsin. The Bemsel's were from Gerstetten and Altheim, Germany.

Christian Selchert born 1839 in Brietzig, Pommern, Germany (now Poland) came to the US in the early 1880s and lived in Dodge county Wisconsin. His son, Carl Frederick Selchert married Ida Katherine Fink.

Fredrich Fink, born 1832 in Luplow part of the Kastorf parish in Mecklenburg-Schwerin, married Maria Sophia Caroline Ganschow in Kastorf in 1859 and then came to the US living in Dodge county Wisconsin.

I would enjoy sharing information on descendants and ancestors of these famiies.
