We're working on the Xaupi or Xaupy family name and specifically trying to find Count Jean Andre Xaupi de Jau (aka John Andrew Xaupi in the US) who was originally from France.. possibly in area of Perpignan, pyrenees orientales, languedoc roussillon, area between 1750-1800. Also interested in any historical information about Edward Xaupi or John Andrew Xaupi who both taught dance,etiquette,french, in the US between 1790 and 1850.

Xaupi partial family tree (48 KB) Xaupi came from France and taught dance fencing etiquette in the US. Count Jean Andre Xaupi De Jau was from France but not completely verified back to French ancestory yet.
