      1. Abraham "Adolph"1 Isserlis (MosesA Isserles, "Ephraim"B, Zechariah MendelC) was born June 11, 1876 in Tarnopol, Galitzia, and died August 31, 1935 in Fall River Mass. He married Rose Isserles 1906 in Tarnopol. She was born 1883 in Zborow, Galitzia, and died August 31, 1962 in Fall River Mass.

Notes for Abraham "Adolph" Isserlis:
Adolph first came from Tarnopol to America in October 1893 aboard the
SS Wieland having sailed from Hamburg, Germany. At first, he lived
with his older brother Frank. After about 13 years in Fall River,
Massachusetts, he returned to his birthpace, Tarnopol and married his
cousin Rose Isserles.
Adolph had been a barber and pool room owner in Fall River. One of his
hobbies was playing the mandolin. He became a US citizen in 1909. He
was described by family members who remember him as a gentle, quiet
man who seldom raised his voice.


Notes for Rose Isserles:
Rose worked at the family owned candy store and bake shop in Fall
River. She was also an excellent cook and knitter.
