We have finally made some progress on our family tree research. This started a few years ago when I encountered a few other Ittners on the Web. We got much more interested after visiting Ellis Island, where Ellie's father, Andy Moccia, landed in 1912.I've traded family tree info with a few other Ittners, and will try to share it with you on this page.My ancestors came over from Germany and Ireland in the mid-1800s, Ellie's from Italy in the late 1800s and 1912. Much of the information we have so far is from family sources, souch as marriage and birth certificates and, most notably, the Ittner family bible, published in Philadelphia in 1867. It is a German bible, complete with illustrated pages.
Cheers,
John & Ellie
