I am researching the Jack family from Scotland and Ontario. Donald Jack was born 23 August 1823 in Nairn, Scotland, he married Annie Bowie born abt 1825, they later moved to Canada about 1850. I am also researching the Lightheart and Buffy families. Mark Lightheart Buffy was born abt 1846 in Ontario. His parents are believed to be William Vernon Buffy and Catherine Lightheart. William Vernon's parents were William and Susan Buffy who came to Canada sometime after 1830. Catherine Lightheart's parents are Isaac Lightheart and Elizabeth Markle. Other names that I am researching are: Wark, Moore, Barnum, Chard, Hoard, Hoar, Hicks, Collins, Mifflin and Badder,Oke. |
