"Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will show thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee." ----Deuteronomy 32:7 "It is wise for us to recur to the history of our ancestors. Those who, regardless of their ancestors ---- do not look upon themselves as a link connecting the past with the future in the transmission of life from their ancestors to their posterity do not perform their duty to the world ---- We are true to ourselves only when we act with pride for the blood we inherit, and which we are to transmit to those who shall soon fill our places. ---- There is a moral and philosophical respect for our ancestors which elevates character and improves the heart." ----Daniel Webster Acknowledgements: I would like to express my appreciation for all those who helped make this possible. The ones who loaned pictures, furnished information, and especially the ones who let us "pick their brains". You are too numerous to mention but a great big "Thank You" to each of you.
