1. 8/94--"Looking Back/ Genealogical Abstracts from 'The Carthaginian' / Leake County, MS 1872-1900" by Regina Hines Ellison, CGRS Issue dated July 11, 1890: "Elizabeth C. Wiggins died on May 19, 1890. She was born in Monroe County, Ala. on Jan. 15, 1820 and joined Salem baptist Church about 1840. She married Stephen Wiggins on May 28, 1846. She was a member of the Carthage Baptist Church. Mrs. Wiggins was laid by the side of her two sons at Old Pensacola Graveyard.
