1. John⁵ Marion (John⁴, John³, Benjamin², Jean¹) was born 08 May 1763, and died Aft. 1799. He married Catherine Palmer 1788 in SC, daughter of Joseph Palmer and Elizabeth Pearce.

Notes for John Marion:
Referred to as "John of York", supposedly because he lived in York Co., SC but I haven't yet found him on census. In fact, the census' 1790-1850 show NO Marions in York. Of course, they don't show any in Chester either.

Children of John Marion and Catherine Palmer are:

	2	i.	Mary Palmer⁶ Marion, born 1791; died 21 June 1857.
+	3	ii.	Peter Marion, born 25 July 1792 in Chester District, SC; died 19 February 1873 in Leake Co., MS.
	4	iii.	Nathanial Marion, born 1793; died 1829.
	5	iv.	Job V. Marion, born 1799; died 1861 in Lafayette Co., MS.
